Effective date: September 4, 2026
This policy applies when you visit SMM Panel Nigeria, create an account, fund a wallet, place an order, or contact us. We process personal data under applicable Nigerian law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
1. Information we collect
We collect account details, password hashes, wallet and payment records, order details and public links, support communications, and basic technical or security logs. Do not submit passwords, financial PINs, private messages, or unnecessary personal information in order fields.
2. How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, provide and bill for services, verify payments, fulfil orders, provide support, prevent abuse and fraud, comply with law, enforce our Terms, and improve reliability. Our legal grounds may include contract performance, legal obligations, legitimate interests, and consent where required.
3. Providers and sharing
Kora processes payments; we do not store full card details. We share only required order fields with fulfilment providers and may use hosting, security, analytics, and communication vendors under appropriate obligations. We do not sell personal data.
4. International processing
Some providers may process information outside Nigeria. We take reasonable steps to use lawful safeguards appropriate to the information and destination.
5. Retention
We retain account, order, wallet, payment, audit, and support records only as long as necessary to provide services, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet accounting or legal duties. Limited records may remain after account closure where law or legitimate fraud-prevention needs require it.
6. Security
We use reasonable controls, including one-way password hashing, access restrictions, server-side credentials, and payment verification. No internet service is completely secure; use a strong unique password and protect your email and devices.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law and exceptions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or information about processing. We may verify your identity. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
8. Cookies and local storage
We use essential session cookies for authentication and browser storage for interface preferences. If optional analytics are introduced, we will provide any notice or choice required by law.
9. Children
The service is not intended for anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a child supplied personal information.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as practices or laws change and will communicate material changes where appropriate. Send questions or rights requests to privacy@smmpanel.ng.
